Open-IT is strategically positioned as an IT R&D company aimed at societally beneficial software solutions in various application areas, such as smart technologies for sustainable tourism in protected areas, technical innovation in language education for children and adults, digital technologies for a cohesive and fair society, or open communication and web technologies, including novel solutions for e-invoicing and efficient business data exchange.

Our Team

The multinational team behind faktoo service consists of 10+ researchers, developers, and other experts from IT, business, and academy, led and mentored by both the company CEO and CFO.

Our Vision

Faktoo service is a cornerstone of our vision which goes beyond just making e-invoicing more accessible and widespread even among SMEs. Ultimately we want to support the emergence of a new generation of seamless business-process-driven ERPs utilizing cryptographic technology and AI, providing unprecedented interoperability, maximal business data exchange and processing automation including semi-automatic accounting and reporting, new level of reliability and transparency.

The project

Faktoo service is powered by DIGIFAKT, a modern modular, extensible and scalable e-invoicing system developed with the grant support of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic under the TREND Programme under the project FW06010657 "Efficient trade using machine-readable business documents" and in partnership with EVITAX company, building on their extensive knowledge in accounting, tax advisory and business document processing.
